About Us

Established for over 30 years, Allied Automotive have been offering our bodywork and paintwork services to the public and the motor trade from our fully insured premises in Barwell, Leicestershire. Repairing the bodywork of vehicles is not a trade that can be learnt quickly, it takes years of practice and experience to produce a high level of work.

We offer a wide range of services, including non-fault accident repairs, insurance repairs, restoration, paintwork, bodywork and smart repairs. Our work in guaranteed for as long as our customers own the vehicle*, and we use industry leading brands such as Novol, Sikkens, Glasurit and Baslac to ensure our products are as good as our workmanship. A bodyshop’s chosen products can have a huge impact of the quality of a paint finish, and as with most things in life you certainly get what you pay for. We have experimented for many years and have found a set of products that work well, have a long life and are as environmentally friendly as possible. In most cases, we use waterborne products, and all of the products we use are VOC compliant.

Our Business Started In The 1990’s

Originally with local customers from Barwell, Hinckley, Burbage, Earl Shilton and the surrounding villages. Since then, our family run business has built up a strong reputation and client base. This has led to work coming from all over the UK. You may also recognise us from Youtube – supercar enthusiast Mat Armstrong uses us for all of his paintwork.

Our business model is based on quality over quantity. We take our time, and do the job right, first time. This can be seen from our feedback on Google and Facebook; we aim to provide the best bodywork and paintwork to our customers, at the lowest possible prices. It is this combination of high quality and relatively low cost that has seen our bodyshop continue to offer its paintwork services for over three decades.

We Offer A Far More Personal Experience

Compared to larger shops, particularly the “insurance approved” shops, we offer a far more personal experience. With a small team of expert body refinishers, you can be sure of a friendly, polite and honest service when using Allied Automotive for your body repairs. You will not be passed from one receptionist to the next! You will deal with the people who are actually repairing and taking pride in your vehicle. Often, the problem with high volume shops is that the responsibility for the job belongs to the “business” whereas we deal directly with customers meaning higher standards are sought and far more pride is taken.

We are always happy to advise in any situation. Too often, business are too focused on “sell, sell, sell” we are keen to chat, advise and then offer an estimate which you can then (if you wish) compare with others. Verbal estimates are free of charge, but written estimates take much more of our time and we charge a small fee.

Speedy Service

Once a price is agreed, we can look to book in. Sometimes, it can speed the “downtime” of a vehicle dramatically if parts are paid for upfront. This means we can stock the parts and be ready to get on with the job as soon as it comes in to us. Your repairs are then carried out, the vehicle cleaned, and notification given. We then encourage customers to have a good look at the work carried out and finally settle the bill.
